About Primary Geography tutoring in Ireland
Geography at primary level is part of SESE and covers the natural and human environment - the local area, maps and directions, weather, rivers and mountains, and how people live in Ireland and elsewhere.
Map skills are the part most worth investing in early. Reading a map, using a key and giving directions are examinable right through Junior Cycle and into Leaving Certificate Geography, and a child who becomes comfortable with them at primary level carries that advantage for a decade.
